BURLINGTON, MA (May 26, 2022) – EBI Consulting is pleased to congratulate Energy Program Manager and Senior Energy Engineer Lucy Bass on winning Connect CRE’s 2022 Next Generation Award.
Entering its fifth year, Connect CRE’s Next Generation Award recognizes commercial real estate’s most talented young professionals across the US. Lucy was selected out of 400 nominees and was featured as one of 10 winners in the Boston and New England region.
Lucy first joined EBI as an Energy Engineer in 2019, and now serves as Energy Program Manager and Senior Energy Engineer. As Connect CRE states, Lucy “single-handedly revamped how the organization conducts its analysis of commercial and residential properties,” which has helped property owners “save energy, water, and money.”
Her expertise and insights have helped EBI to “expand its ability to tackle complicated properties, such as prominent casinos and office buildings” and owners to improve operations at their properties for maximum benefit, Connect CRE says. Additionally, she is adept at navigating complex regulatory requirements for HUD programs and identifying tax and rebate incentive programs to help clients save even more money, allowing EBI to expand service lines.
Recently, Lucy was interviewed for a Bisnow article examining NYC building owners looking to pursue 100% renewable energy and was included in EBI Consulting’s recent TV appearance in “World’s Greatest!” on Bloomberg TV.
“Congratulations to Lucy Bass on winning Connect CRE’s Next Generation award!” EBI Consulting Director of Energy and Sustainability Mike Eardley says. “Lucy has been a notable member of our energy and sustainability team and an essential player in leading our energy work for our clients and their complex portfolios. Her expertise as an energy engineer, growing leadership abilities in managing the energy program, and drive to go above and beyond for her team really bolstered the development of our energy and sustainability business unit here at EBI. Both clients and staff alike appreciate her positive attitude and propensity for delivering her projects in an organized and productive manner. Lucy deserves this recognition, and I look forward to seeing how she continues to grow and develop as an energy professional.”
