Meet Chris Corsten, Sustainability Consultant

Chris Costen joined EBI in March of 2022, bringing nine years of experience in multifamily and single-family asset development and management. Over the last six years, he has bought, renovated and now manages 10 multifamily and single-family properties. Over the past eight years he has managed community development programs in Afghanistan that constructed schools, clinics, roads, irrigation systems, flood protection systems, and clean energy systems.
In his role as a sustainability consultant, Chris evaluates multifamily and industrial buildings and recommends the most effective ways to make them more efficient and environmentally friendly. He also assists clients in earning IREM, LEED and other green building certifications.
Chris graduated from Ripon College in Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He received his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland University College, going on to complete his master’s in sustainability from Harvard University. He is a LEED Green Associate and holds a graduate certificate in corporate sustainability and innovation.
