BURLINGTON (April 19, 2023) – EBI Consulting is pleased to welcome Susan O’Shea as Chief Business Officer (CBO)!

As Chief Business Officer, Susan will assume management and leadership of EBI’s corporate functions, namely finance and accounting, human resources, IT and marketing. She will also closely partner with the leadership team to strengthen and advance strategic business planning and operating practices across the organization.

Bringing over 30 years of experience in commercial and private equity leadership, finance, IT, legal, and contract and risk management to the role, Susan is a highly experienced senior financial executive with demonstrated experience in helping a broad range of public and private companies, from start-ups to multi-billion corporations, grow and improve financial performance. She has a proven track record of identifying and driving operational initiatives, as well as substantial acquisition and joint venture experience.

Prior to joining EBI, Susan has held leadership roles in executive management of strategy development, sales, new business development, efficiency improvement, cost management, budgeting and business planning. She has served as Chief Financial Officer for several private equity-owned firms in the medical and healthcare technology, management consulting, and investment industries. Other industry experience includes professional services, food and beverage, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing and transportation.

In addition to her new role at EBI, Susan serves as Chair of the Town of Wellesley Audit Committee, a volunteer position overseeing the examination of the town’s financial recordings and standards. She earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from DePaul University.
