GIS Terrain Analysis
EBI can create continuous map layers representing slope, aspect, or contours using elevation sample data. Whether you wish to analyze line-of-sight between two locations or map the view shed (visible area) from a vantage point, EBI can customize the maps to your needs. Terrain analysis can be used for flood control studies, siting towers, park and land use planning, siting landfills, and volumetric calculations for landfills and coal reserves.
Line of Sight
Line Of Sight calculates intervisibility between pairs of points given their position in 3-D space and a surface. It also determines what is visible along the lines between these points as they are profiled on the surface.

Viewshed Analysis
Viewshed identifies the cells in an input raster that can be seen from one or more observation points or lines. Viewshed is useful when you want to know how visible objects might be from a particular location. This analysis becomes useful when planning to build a wireless cell tower, water tower or emissions stack. EBI can determine the locations on the landscape from which the potential structure will be visible.
