We are currently looking for an individual with a diversified skill set and experience in high level property condition assessments to become a member of EBI’s equity assessment team.  In this role, you will assist with the management of equity projects. You will be responsible for the timely completion of assignments and the associated due diligence reports for commercial real estate transactions. Successful candidates will demonstrate professional experience with building design, materials, structure and construction, and be familiar with a variety of commercial and income-producing building types, as well as having access to sub-contracting resources when necessary. The PCA Consultant will be the “quarterback” of equity contractors and oversee MEP, roofing, elevator, structural, and façade work, among others. Seismic experience, as well as experience with business development and proposal generation is a plus.   The candidate will have 8-20 years experience conducting projects and assessing a diverse number of properties in accordance with ASTM E2018-08, and more complex Scopes of Work. In addition, expertise in evaluating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, life safety and elevator components (MEP), assessing their condition, and estimating costs to repair, refurbish or replace the components or systems is desirable. Experience with energy audits, “green” building solutions, new systems technologies, estimating potential operational cost savings, and experience designing systems is not necessary, though helpful.

  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing and maintaining systems; keeping past and current records.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of regulations Federal and State on matters such as FLMA, ERISA, COBRA, insurance and other employment and Department of Labor regulations.
  • Assists and trains staff, operational and sales managers for more efficient interaction with HR data/systems.
  • Streamlines and automates HR related processes, forms and handbooks and HR intranet page.
  • Assists with performance correction/development opportunities in conjunction with front line managers.
  • Assists CAO with development, maintenance and reporting of equitable compensation structure, including innovative incentive compensation program.
  • Maintains organizational charts (Experience with VISIO an advantage.)
  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains human resource staff effectiveness by mentoring, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyze data for trends, and make recommendations for change as appropriate.
  • Candidate will possess excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, be responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking.
  • Adheres to and participates in Company’s mandatory HIPAA privacy program / practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs / practices.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years Human Resource experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team-player and team builder

Educational Requirements

Bachelors Degree in business, human resources or equivalent.
