Litigation related environmental health and safety liabilities, damages, and exposures represents a significant business risk in today's climate. The technical issues in many such matters can be highly complex. Many litigation matters involve tort claims, and require a scientific evaluation of the cause. Our engineers, environmental scientists, and industrial hygienists can provide a clear understanding in support of litigation activities, either as advisors or expert witnesses. We assist clients in understanding the testimony offered by other experts and in evaluating the scientific and/or engineering basis and its validity. Many of EBI's senior staff have served as expert witnesses for mediations, arbitrations, and administrative and judicial proceedings.
