Seismic Risk Evaluation

EBI provides full-spectrum seismic evaluation services to assess seismic risks for existing or proposed structures for owners, investors, borrowers, tenants, buyers, lenders and developers. The depth of the seismic evaluation, from screening or desktop evaluations to three dimensional modeling, may be calibrated to your risk assessment needs. The seismic risk assessment may be performed to evaluate risk by calculating the Probable Maximum Loss (PML) or investigate compliance with an existing standard such as ASCE’s 31-03 Seismic Evaluation of Existing Buildings. PML evaluations suggest how the property may be affected by a probable seismic event.
