Mr. Previte founded EBI Consulting in 1989 after 28 years of related work as a student, teacher, and manager. By 2007, he had led EBI to over $40 million in revenues and 350 employees, earning national recognition as a Top Ten Mid-sized Firm in The Zweig Letter. EBI was recognized as one of the nation’s 200 fastest growing environmental firms in 2006 and among the nation’s top 100 fastest growing environmental companies in 2007, moving from 16th to 11th place on Boston Business Journal’s Book of Lists for the Area’s Largest Environmental Engineering Firms between 2005 and 2006.

EBI Consulting is a leading Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Management Consulting firm for the most prominent real estate, finance, global investment and commercial banking companies such as Bank of America, Hancock Insurance, Prudential, J.P. Morgan, and Goldman Sachs. EBI is among the top ten providers of environmental, civil, electrical, and structural engineering support to telecommunications companies, including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and MetroPCS. EBI provides EH&S services to major biotechnology firms, hospitals, and industrial and institutional companies such as EMD Serono, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Rohm & Haas, and the Genzyme Corporation.

EBI has grown and been profitable for more than 15 years, has no indebtedness to banks or outside investors, and is currently investing in new technologies and personnel with the primary objective of improving profitability for its clients. EBI’s people have years of successful business and technical management experience with multi-national companies including W.R. Grace & Company, Earth Tech, Dow Chemical’s Rohm & Haas/Shipley Company, and Stone & Webster Engineering. EBI’s personnel have advanced business management and technical degrees including chemistry, biology, geology, geophysics, and structural, civil, electrical, and environmental engineering and certified industrial hygiene.

Mr. Previte received an Artis Baccalaureate in Biology from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University, and did graduate work in Advanced Biological Chemistry at Boston University, and completed the Harbridge House Executive Management Program. Mr. Previte resides with Ellen Nolan, his wife of 43 years, in Boston and Gloucester. They have two sons, Nolan and Jeffrey and three grandchildren, Liliana, William Nolan, and Aidan Previte.
