Archaeological Surveys
EBI has a full-service Cultural Resource Management (CRM) group with the capabilities to guide projects of all types through the federal, state, and local CRM process. We offer a complete range of archaeological services including Site File and Historic Map Research, Prior Ground Disturbance Determinations, Phase I - Archaeological Sensitivity Assessments, Phase II - Evaluation of National Register Eligibility, and Phase III - Data Recovery. We also have access to a network of experts who can conduct specialized surveys including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), underwater archaeology, and faunal and botanical analysis.
Our staff meets or exceeds the professional qualifications published by the Secretary of the Interior (SOI) for archaeology and has the experience to lead your project through the compliance process. Our team has accumulated valuable experience working with municipalities on surveys for infrastructure, with private firms on development projects and with the telecommunications industry to complete compliance survey for Section 106.
